Update on Pledged Accommodation Programme

An update about the Pledged Accommodation Programme for Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Ireland.
You may have heard that our partners, Helping Irish Hosts will be stepping away from the Pledged Accommodation Programme in May. Over the last three years, this programme has supported thousands of Irish households to open their homes and hearts to Ukrainians who have fled to safety in Ireland. Helping Irish Hosts have been fantastic supporters of hosting and we are hugely grateful for the partnership, support and guidance that they have provided to hosts, guests and to our team.
What does this mean for hosts and guests?
Helping Irish Hosts are contacting all hosts and guests to update them of the changes, if you would like future support to be provided to the Irish Red Cross they will make sure we know. We’ve got you covered!
The Irish Red Cross has been involved with pledged accommodation since 2015, and we have an experienced team of caseworkers who are here to help. We’re looking forward to getting to know you and offering the support you need as we transition things over.
