Ambulance Cover for Events

Book your first aid cover with us.

The Irish Red Cross has a fleet of 120+ vehicles. These include road ambulances, off-road ambulances, and support vehicles. All of our vehicles meet the required standard for the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).

The Irish Red Cross provides first-aid cover at numerous events around the country every week, ranging from concerts to sports events and community festivals. Our first-aid cover at such events is provided by volunteer members who are trained to Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) standards. Some of our branches can also provide patient transport but this depends on the availability of our volunteers, particularly in relation to weekday appointments.

For the provision of first-aid cover, the country is split into four regions. Each region has a volunteer Regional Director of Units, and each county has a volunteer Area Director of Units. They can be reached via the email addresses below. Please be aware that this service is ran by volunteers and we therefore ask for your patience and understanding when requesting their assistance.
